On top of low prices and guaranteed hybrid vigour, you now have a chance to win! Each purchase of a Shoreline Stock Farm bull calf puts an entry in the hat to win 20 bags of 1-1 mineral from Agassiz Feeds (a value of 500.00).
Lorne Rossnagel, Plumas MB, purchased 4 Shoreline bulls in February, 2008. He wrote: “We haven’t been this excited about our bull power in a long time! With holistic management and calving on pasture, calving ease is a huge factor and with more and more feedlots using the RFID tags to trace their best marbling carcasses back to the farm, I think we’re on the right track. Thanks again.”
We want to sell you a bull! The 2007 crop are a stylish set in both black and red. Prices start at $1,500. Look at the following ultrasound results: |

Let’s focus on the marbling numbers because that is where the premiums are. Anything over 4.00 is very good (AA-AAA), 5.00 is excellent (AAA), anything over 6.00 is in prime country, along with big $$ premiums.
Also note that with the back fat numbers, anything under 10.00 is excellent. This complements our goal of breeding animals with high marbling with low outside fat. It has taken years of breeding to get here, and we are committed to get even better. Buying a bull from us will give you the best carcass results in the industry.
Please check http://www.biobeef.com/userfiles/files/2008/200839.pdf for the complete End of Test results on our 2007 bull calves. On checking the BIO report, key on the top number under each trait - %ab. That is the % comparison across all breeds. This compares purebreds of all breeds and composites. 100% is perfect, anything over 85% is excellent. ABC’s put all bulls on even footing, whereas EPD’s are only within that breed.
This website lets you compare all purebreds and composites against each other and the numbers are based on the American Angus averages. Take BW for example, if a composite ABC is +1.0, and purebred Angus is +1.0, the birth weights on identical cows will be the same. This way, you can compare all purebreds with composites on the same footing. This follows for WW, YW, milk, REA, and marbling.
The Shoreline composite breed is designed by geneticists and has years of data behind it. |
